A nice surprise yesterday with a very strong 10 minute opening to Melbourne (along with a couple of other Victorians). Followed immediately by Lakes Entrance. As the two Lakes Entrance ones I got were same frequencies as used in Melbourne, I am unsure if they came up as Melbourne left, or if they were already there, but were drowned out by the strong Melbourne signals. 7.15 - 7.25pm 89.5 3PNN Bendigo 89.9 3TSC Melbourne w/- RDS* 90.7 3SYN Melbourne 91.1 3ABCRR Bendigo 91.5 3PTV Melbourne w/- RDS* 92.3 3ZZZ Melbourne 93.1 3SBS Melbourne 94.5 3WWM Nhill 97.9 3RIM Melton 89.5 3APL Bacchus Marsh 98.9 3NOW Melbourne North West Suburbs 7.25 - 7.40pm 89.9 Racing Lakes Entrance 90.7 3REG Lakes Entrance *RDS photos below

The title of the post makes it sounds exciting but in fact it has been quiet. This is proving to be a poor season for E's. The last lot of activity was on the 3rd and 5th of January. The 3rd saw a 10 minute opening, while the 5th had one 5 minute opening followed later by a series of E's reception lasting only a minute or two. 3/1/14 Midday - 12.10pm 93.3 4SBS Brisbane 94.5 4PNN Gympie 94.9 4MIX Ipswich 95.3 4SCR Gympie 97.3 4BFM Brisbane 5/1/14 10.55 - 11am 96.9 4RFM Moranbah 97.9 4ABCFM Mackay 98.7 4RGM Mackay 99.5 4JJJ Mackay 101.1 4QAA Mackay 102.7 4ABCRN Mackay 104.9 4QAA Moranbah
First log for 2014 and it was the Western Australians who popped in for a visit.
